Forklift Truck Refresher Training
Our forklift truck refresher training course is designed for certified operators whose licence is due for renewal, or who have not operated a forklift for a period of time. Regular refresher training is strongly recommended by the HSE and is commonly required by site operators, clients and insurers as part of ongoing compliance obligations.
The course covers updated safe operating procedures, any changes to regulations or guidance since the operator's original training, and a formal practical driving assessment to confirm current competence. It also gives instructors the opportunity to identify and correct any unsafe habits that may have developed over time — particularly valuable for operators who work without close supervision.
Delivered on-site in a single day, refresher training is easy to schedule around your operations. Your own forklift truck is used throughout, keeping the training directly relevant to the operator's actual role.
On completion, operators receive updated certification confirming continued competence. This is typically valid for a further three to five years, subject to the certification scheme and any requirements set by your insurer or principal contractor.
