Mobile Crane Training
Our mobile crane training course gives operators the comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to safely operate mobile cranes on construction, civil engineering, offshore and industrial sites. Mobile crane operations carry significant risks to operators and those working nearby — our on-site training ensures your crane operators are properly trained, assessed and certified to the recognised industry standard.
The course covers crane setup and pre-use inspection, reading and interpreting load charts, lift planning and risk assessment, crane stability and ground bearing pressure, operating in confined and complex site environments, and communication with slingers and banksmen during lifting operations. Training content is tailored to the crane type in use, whether all-terrain, rough terrain or truck-mounted.
Delivered at your site or a suitable lifting location using your own equipment, the assessment is directly relevant to your operations. Course duration is typically three days for novice operators.
On successful completion, operators receive recognised mobile crane certification aligned with CPCS and NPORS standards, meeting the requirements of principal contractors, CDM regulations and insurance providers.
