Pendant Crane Training
Our pendant crane training course gives operators the knowledge and practical skills to safely operate overhead travelling cranes using pendant push-button controls. Pendant cranes are widely used in manufacturing, engineering, warehousing and industrial facilities, and operators must be properly trained to work safely with loads that can be hazardous to themselves and others on the factory or workshop floor.
The course covers crane controls and operating principles, safe lifting techniques, load assessment and attachment, travelling safely with suspended loads, setting down procedures, operating near structures and other machinery, emergency stop use, and pre-use inspection. Operators also learn their maintenance and defect-reporting responsibilities.
Delivered on-site at your facility using your own crane, the training is relevant to the specific equipment and environment from day one. The course suits new operators and those requiring renewal of existing certification.
On successful completion, operators receive recognised pendant crane certification confirming their competence to operate overhead cranes safely in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
